Tungsten Carbon Fiber Rings Info

About Carbon Fiber

Carbon fiber is a super strong material that is made up of extremely thin fibers (even thinner than human hair) about 0.005-0.010 mm in diameter, composed mainly of carbon atoms. The carbon atoms are bonded together in microscopic crystals that are aligned parallel to the long axis of the fiber (see image below). The crystal alignment makes the fiber very strong for its size while also very lightweight. Carbon Fiber has high tensile strength, low weight, and low thermal expansion, which makes it very popular in aerospace, civil engineering, military, and motorsports, along with other competition sports.  It's five times as strong as steel, two times as stiff, yet weighs about two-thirds less. Carbon fiber is very strong when stretched or bent. These enhanced features make carbon fiber more exclusive compared to similar materials such as fiberglass or plastic.

The carbon fibers we use for our tungsten carbon fiber rings are a shiny smooth sultry Black and a sleek shiny silver-White color, these are used for our black or white tungsten carbon fiber rings. The black and white carbon fiber tungsten rings are the most popular, in the future we may have other various colors as well. Our Tungsten Carbon Fiber Wedding Bands are new and unique, contemporary wear, good for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations as well as weddings or engagement. They are offered in 8mm tungsten carbon fiber ring size or 6mm tungsten carbon fiber ring size.

Tungsten Carbide Carbon Fiber Rings

The carbon fiber itself is very strong, it is inlaid with and protected with a clear non-toxic resin. The resin is stable and resistant to chemicals and should be fine to wear during dish washing, jewelry cleaning, or with normal chemicals that come in contact with your hands during the day. Harsh chemicals may effect the resin, such as acetone, paint thinner, gasoline, etc, but you probably wouldn't want these things on your hands without gloves anyway. We do not recommend sonic cleaning Tungsten Carbon Fiber Rings. The resin coating is used to protect the carbon fiber, which if exposed, could be damaged over time. Most all carbon fiber rings have a resin coating for these reasons.
