We bought this ring because we are farmers, and gold just cannot hold up to the "abuse" of working with our hands all the time. It is thicker than most of my rings, but only took a day or two to get used to, now I don't even notice it's there. I will say, I am quite disappointed in the scratch resistance of the Cobalt, after doing quite a bit of research, I expected it to be tough enough to hold up to our lifestyle. We were married Feb 10, 2018 and within about 2 weeks, my ring was quite scratched. Tungsten world did offer to have it buffed for free (I just have to pay for shipping, which is expected), or to try a polishing cloth first. I ordered the Polish they recommended, and it does shine the ring up very nice, but the scratches are still there. We have been married just over 5bmonths and my ring is just as scratched as if I had a gold one, BUT it is not misshapen. If I could do it over again, I wouldn't buy the polished Cobalt, I would go with a more matte finish where the scratches wouldn't be as noticable.
